We ran some errands this morning and bundled up as it's cold (but sunny!) outside. And this cute hat worked out great for the little guy.

Apparently it's true that good parenting requires creativity sometimes.

...like when trying to cut the too long fingernails of a certain little baby. We have the hardest time with this... He will either wake up or start screaming. So we didn't want to move the boy. And that's when the headlamp came out. Our most successful nail clipping so far! (so the headlamp won't go far).

...these sweet pictures are also a little funny as he didn't really sleep so well today. But he let me sleep in until 9:30 (woke up at 6:30 to eat and then went right back down, to his parents surprise), do laundry and make dinner, so I won't complain.

He really loves it when he's in the water. We've decided this is the perfect task for daddy who also loves their bath time. I just drop in to take the pictures :)

Christmas came early for Eli in the form of a good Craigslist find. Love this rocker/lounger. We think he will too.

This sweet blanket was given to Eli by a very kind friend of ours. Eli is happily sleeping with it in his Moses basket in the middle of the living room where all the noise and action are.

Awake time

We've been loving these awake moments Eli gives us during the day. The smiles have started. And this boy likes to move. We also love his cute outfit, gifted by friends, and his lovely blanket, handmade by a friend who's in Moon's class.
