Moon had an eye appointment near powells so the baby and I went along, and of course we stopped by to browse the books.

Out and about

Moon decided tonight that we needed to go out somewhere. Eli and I took a (blissful) 2 1/2 hour nap and were up for anything, so off to Hot Lips pizza we went. And while the pictures make it look like we just drank beer, we did eat as well, and even go shopping (or looking) at patagonia.

Christmas is coming...

And Eli is enjoying the tree, he loves staring at things that are bright and shiny. He didn't seem to be overly excited about his toy that came in the mail (he's sleeping through it). But he'll love it when daddy sets it up. Oh, and good thing we don't have to show up for jury duty, I'm pretty sure that wouldn't have been fun for anyone.

2 months!

Today commemorates two months since the boy's birth. To celebrate we went to his 2 month check up... And then out to dinner (which he slept halfway through).

He's a healthy and happy boy! And mom only cried a little during his shots...

Eli seemed to have fun... sleeping through a couple hours of it, having his daddy dance him back to sleep, and watching lots of people!

We ran some errands this morning and bundled up as it's cold (but sunny!) outside. And this cute hat worked out great for the little guy.

Apparently it's true that good parenting requires creativity sometimes.

...like when trying to cut the too long fingernails of a certain little baby. We have the hardest time with this... He will either wake up or start screaming. So we didn't want to move the boy. And that's when the headlamp came out. Our most successful nail clipping so far! (so the headlamp won't go far).

...these sweet pictures are also a little funny as he didn't really sleep so well today. But he let me sleep in until 9:30 (woke up at 6:30 to eat and then went right back down, to his parents surprise), do laundry and make dinner, so I won't complain.
